Are you tired of always being busy? Do you long for more time to do the things that really matter? I found myself at the point where I just didn’t have anything left, as if time had been slowly wearing me down. Longing for quiet, uninterrupted periods of time, I made the decision that I would stop feeling so frantic and cultivate a life less busy.
My goal was to slow down, simplify my life and somehow discover serenity in the process. I wanted to take time to enjoy the simple things, the little everyday moments that make up life. There is so much beauty and wisdom waiting to be discovered in the everyday things around us, but so often we are too busy to notice. When I slowed down, and become more aware of the world around me, I found that I was able to make meaning out of the madness.
About A Life Less Busy
The aim of this site is to inspire others to slow down and discover a more meaningful way of living. When we slow down it is possible to create time to explore whatever interests us, to follow our passions, and to spend our time in ways that nurture rather than deplete us. On this site you can find ideas and advice that will hopefully inspire you to create a life less busy.
I have discovered that the most significant way to free up extra time in life is to spend less of it on-line. As a result I post new blog articles fairly infrequently, and I try to limit my time on social media. However I do update my Twitter feed regularly should you wish to follow me there. If you are interested in the blog, you can find an index of all previous posts on the Library page. I am also on Instagram fairly often, and Facebook and Pinterest now and then.
